Reaming Dies

Another integral part of the case forming process, Reaming Dies provide a convenient and precise means of reaming the inside of the case neck to reduce the case wall thickness. Many calibers require trimming the parent case considerably shorter. This causes the new case neck to be located in the thicker body area of the parent case which necessitates thinning the case wall.

Reamer Dies are dimensioned to reduce the case neck to the nearest convenient diameter that will allow using standard off-the-shelf reamers in easy to find diameters.
