Decapping Rods

Decapping rods are sized by the primer size for diameter and the length of the die body it will be used in.

  • Small primer calibers use a small decapping pin and a 10-32 rod.
  • Large primer calibers use a large decapping pin and a 1/4"-28 rod.
  • The length is always the SHORTER size nearest to the die length it will be used in.
